Introduction

Karla Hill SPHR, SHRM-SCP, MBTI, is a certified Human Resources (HR) Leader with over 32 years of experience in progressively responsible positions in government. Her areas of expertise include labor relations, recruitment, and succession planning. She also currently serves as the Deputy Director for Human Resources and Administration for a local government agency. Ms. Hill is also the Principal and Owner of GPS Career and Business Strategies, where she helps business owners and individuals transform their organizations and careers via HR and Career Planning strategies. Karla is committed to empowering others and attributes her passion for education and economic inclusion to her upbringing and exposure to diverse communities. She holds a BBA in Public Administration from Baruch College, a MS from Chestnut Hill College, she is certified by Myers Briggs, is a trained DISC Facilitator and holds senior HR professional certifications from the Society for Human Resources Management and the HR Certification Institute. Ms. Hill currently lives in the Northwest section of Philadelphia and enjoys spending her free time with her husband, two sons and mother.
